Austin Chamber’s delegation of 65 members were in Washington D.C. from June 11-13 for our sold-out Federal Advocacy Visit. From the moment the group landed in D.C., they had a whirlwind slate of meetings, convenings, and events spanning across every facet of Federal Advocacy.

  • Samsung Electronics to receive up to $6.4 billion in direct funding under the CHIPS and Science Act

    On April 15, Samsung Electronics welcomed U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo to its new semiconductor manufacturing facility in Taylor, Texas, at an event to announce up to $6.4 billion in direct funding to Samsung as part of the CHIPS and Science Act.
