Our priorities
We work together with a bipartisan group of elected officials and policymakers to ensure our entire state continues to plan for growth, improve infrastructure, and reform property taxes and school finance.
Economic development
We advocate for economic development tools that are crucial to job creation, including maintaining sufficient funding in the Texas Enterprise Fund.
Transportation
We advocate for project delivery and funding that reduces congestion and enables innovative transportation technologies.
K-12
We support increased funding to improve teacher quality, support Pre-K, early literacy, math proficiency, and improve K-12 learning outcomes to ensure a greater share of Texas students graduate college, career, and or are military ready.
Racial & social equity
We support policies that aid in overcoming racism and social inequities, including access to employment opportunities, healthcare, education, and affordable housing.
Telecommunications infrastructure
The Austin Chamber supports policies that cut red tape to deploying broadband infrastructure, encourages private investment and connects high-speed internet to all corners of Central Texas.
Health care
We support policies that aim to reduce the number of uninsured and improve access and affordability of healthcare in Texas.
Technology & innovation
We support legislation to protect consumer data privacy and ensure regulatory certainty for businesses and consumers alike.
