Austin ranks as the 4th best performing major job market, among the top 50 metros, over the last 12 months and since the beginning of the pandemic. As the demand for talent continues to grow and to develop the workforce of tomorrow, we need to know what’s in demand today and do our best to project those needs in the future.
On October 28th, we were joined by education, business, and community leaders throughout our region to recognize wins made that help our students gain the necessary skills and knowledge that they need to be successful. Our schools and colleges play an irreplaceable part in growing our region's local talent.
The Chamber advocates for policies that invest in our high school students to help prepare them for success in college, careers, or the military. Learn more about our education and talent initiatives.
