On February 13th, we hosted our 146th Annual Meeting at the JW Marriott. It was a packed house for the event, where we celebrated Dr. Richard Rhodes, our 2023 Austinite of the Year, and honored our Volunteers of the Year: Christi Hester, Kathleen Lucente, and Gail Watson.

At the event, Austin Mayor Kirk Watson gave a powerful address to the group, and touched on his priorities for the city in this coming year. Our CEO Jeremy Martin also thanked our outgoing Board Chair Ali Khataw, who gave a powerful address highlighting his year of service and welcomed our incoming Board Chair Rudy Garza, President and CEO of Garza EMC.
