Autumn Leaves Expands to South Austin
Posted on 07/10/2017 by Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce
More than 100 individuals and families joined Autumn Leaves for a heartwarming celebration of their grand opening in South Austin. Attendees were provided home cooked food that residents of the facility receive every day. The selection included marinated shrimp, sushi, tantalizing meatballs, tender brisket with all the trimmings, a bountiful selection of mouthwatering desserts and hearty veggies.
“We are so pleased to have you all as our guests,” said Gwen Hoffman, executive director of the South Austin Autumn Leaves location. “This isn’t just a one-time opportunity for us to get to know each other. Please come back and see us.”
Located at 5200 A Davis Lane, Autumn Leaves, a senior care facility, was founded in 1990 by two families from Michigan who had a passion for caring for patients with Alzheimer's and dementia. As a Chamber member since May 2017, Autumn Leaves has over 20 locations in Texas that create life-enriching experiences for the elderly, their loved ones, business partners, team, and the community they serve. The facility offers its residents intimate home-like living areas that encourage socialization, daily housekeeping services, a full-service beauty and barber salon, spacious private dining for family get-togethers, daily assistance for everyday essentials such as dressing, bathing, and mobility.
“We are very pleased that you chose Austin as your home expanding from your Georgetown facility,” said Barbra Gazo, Ambassador of the Austin Chamber of Commerce. “We at the Greater Austin Chamber are honored to be a part of this event and wish you all the very best as you continue to impact the community around you.”
The ribbon cutting was held June 22. For more information on Autumn Leaves, click here. If you are a Chamber member and would like to coordinate a ribbon-cutting ceremony, contact Melanee Ferrier at 512-322-5684.
