On Thursday morning, October 17, 2024, Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) and local community members came together to celebrate the official ribbon-cutting of ARC Goodnight Ranch. The event was a joyous occasion, marked by the presence of ARC leadership, District 2 Austin City Council Member, Vanessa Fuentes, the Austin Chamber of Commerce, Myra Goepp, President of Benchmark Austin, and special guest, Dean Goodnight of the Goodnight family.

The 6,529-square-foot clinic is ARC's 35th clinic in Central Texas. With family medicine coming soon, the clinic currently offers pediatrics, dermatology, lab, and radiology.

Located on Vertex Boulevard and East Slaughter Lane, the new clinic is part of a 700-acre-mixed-use community near IH 35 in Southeast Austin.

Highlights from our community celebration

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome, refreshments from Lamppost Coffee, and opening remarks delivered by the Austin Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, Jeremy Martin. This was followed by a few words from Norman Chenven, MD, ARC Founding CEO, and Anas Daghestani, MD, ARC President & CEO, who further elaborated on the clinic's mission and how ARC Goodnight Ranch will accommodate for the needs of patients in this previously underserved area.

After some thoughtful words from Council Member, Vanessa Fuentes, Dr. Daghestani turned the stage over to ARC leadership overseeing ARC Goodnight Ranch. Ana Vela, ARC Director of Clinic Operations, introduced the Clinic Manager, Kristen Chavez, and the ARC Goodnight Ranch team:

Recognizing our valued partners

Darlene Guynes, ARC Sr. Operations Director of Construction and Facilities, thanked key contributors who helped bring ARC's vision for the clinic to fruition. This included Levy Dykema Architecture, Austin Canyon Corporation, KPG Commercial Property Management, and Moontower Signage & Branding.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony, a final highlight of the event, was conducted by the Austin Chamber of Commerce. Although the clinic opened its doors on September 30, this symbolic act signified the clinic's public presence in the community.
