To reduce the spread of COVID-19, many workplaces are choosing to work remotely, including the Austin Chamber. Here are a few programs and applications the Chamber uses to make working from home a seamless transition.

    More than project and task management, Asana allows for:

    Access work documents from anywhere. Access files in your browser by going to portal.office.com:

    • Full office suite with desktop and cloud versions of applications
    • Edit documents simultaneously with colleagues
    • Leave comments on documents
    • Share files and projects

    Slack brings together communication and collaboration. Through this instant messaging platform, you can:

    • Send direct or group messages
    • Use channels that can be divided up by team, project, client or whatever else is relevant
    • Conduct audio and video chat
    • Share files

  • Zoom

    Amongst many teleconferencing solutions, Zoom is the one the Chamber uses most often.

    With a free plan, you can hold unlimited one-on-one meetings and 40-minute group meetings with up to 100 participants. You can also screen share and call in with your computer or a phone. Paid are also available with enhanced features.
