How Encotech gives back by mentoring the workforce of tomorrow
Posted on 02/14/2020 by Austin Chamber
A member of the Talent Ambassador program, Ali Khataw, President and CEO of Encotech Engineering Consultants, believes that all businesses have an obligation to mentor and coach our future generation to increase our young talent pool. Ali says,
“It feels good when one is giving back. I think the results of our efforts will help the young individuals now and will also give an ROI to the firm that they will work for in the future. It's not all about 'Me' but really it is all about 'Us'.”
Ali has been part of the CEO for the Day program and mentors two middle school-age children from Dobie Middle School for a day at his office. His leadership team and staff have been judges and guest speakers on engineering career field days and competitions at local high schools in partnership with the City of Austin internship program.
