Inside the Capitol with the Mexican American Legislative Caucus
Posted on 02/15/2021 by Amanda Gutman
The Mexican American Legislative Caucus (MALC) of the Texas House of Representatives is the largest and oldest Latino Caucus in the U.S.
On February 12, we welcomed Chairman Rafael Anchía and Representative Eddie Rodriguez, Policy Chair to talk about the priorities of MALC during the 87th Legislative Session.
The conversation was led by Stacy Armijo, who serves on the Chamber's executive committee as our vice chair of strategy and is the Chief Experience Officer for Amplify Credit Union, and the panel was introduced by Geronimo Rodriguez, who currently serves as Chief Advocacy Officer for Ascension Texas and who was recently recognized as one of our Volunteers of the Year.
