This isn’t just about buses and trains; it’s about building a more connected, accessible and thriving Central Texas. If you’ve ever felt like your transit system could use improvement, here’s your chance to speak up and make it happen!

Think of Transit Plan 2035 as CapMetro’s master blueprint for the next decade. It’s the game plan to create a transit network that fits the evolving needs of our community and keeps up with the rapid changes in our landscape. We're diving deep into understanding the needs of current riders, analyzing how people are moving around the region today and figuring out where the gaps are in our current transit services.

But here's the catch: CapMetro can’t do it alone. We want YOU to help co-create this roadmap. Why? Because who knows Central Texas better than its local business owners, hustling every day to keep this city vibrant?

CapMetro is rolling out a series of engagement activities over the next several weeks. Whether you’re the type who likes to fill out a quick survey from your phone or prefer face-to-face conversations (with a side of free food and entertainment!), there’s something for everyone. 1. Survey and Online Engagement, September 15 to October 18

2. Community Night Open House, October 10, 4 to 8 pm at the Millennium Youth
Complex

Come out with your families for a night of fun! Try roller skating, go bowling, grab some free food and dive into some interactive transit games. Meet the CapMetro team, chat about your ideas and connect with other locals passionate about the future of our city. We encourage you to RSVP here!

3. Webinars and Community Events

If you can’t make it to the open house, don’t sweat it. There will be future webinars and you can catch up at a community event near you! Check for updates and our list of community events on our website.

4. Talk to us in Transit in September & October

Spot CapMetro at a bus stop or onboard? We're rolling out at-stop outreach on October 9 and starting to conduct onboard surveys on September 25. If you’re commuting, keep an eye out and let your voice be heard.
