Shop LC gives back to those in need

Spirit of giving
Chamber member Shop LC saw the need early on: their customers were desperately asking for face masks, hand sanitizer, and other essential products. In addition to providing these items to their customers, Shop LC is making mask donations to frontline healthcare workers.
Learn moreMichelle Long, Director of Communication & CSR at Shop LC, spoke about how their Chamber membership has helped connect them to the community and to critical business resources during this time:
"Through our membership, we've made many new connections in Austin, like ARMA, Fashion Incubator, Austin Economic Zone, SKU and more.
As the COVID-19 situation has evolved, we’ve participated in many of the small business webinars and employee policy reviews, and we used our learning to guide our decisions and processes to educate our own team. The Chamber played a huge part in helping us understand the Stay Home, Stay Safe orders. We were able to limit our team to only necessary essential workers, stay open and operational. This made all the difference in our success.
We are humbled by the opportunity to donate masks to many of the local healthcare operations and businesses in need to help keep their workers safe.
We are proud to be part of such an outstanding community."
Chamber members are doing great things!
Members' efforts are highlighted on our news page, and our community events feature webinars and other resources available to our business community.
