AUSTIN, Texas (December 4, 2023) – The two-time PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Teams Regular Season Champion Austin Gamblers have announced that their annual homestand, PBR Gambler Days, presented by Tecovas, will return to Austin, Texas, next season, taking over Moody Center August 23-25.

The Gamblers are Austin’s first-ever professional bull riding team, competing in the PBR Camping World Team Series, which transforms bull riding from an individual to team-formatted competition. In 2023, the Gamblers repeated as Regular Season Champions, with star rider Jose Vitor Leme also claiming his second Teams MVP title in as many years, en route to finishing the season No. 2 in the league, narrowly beaten at the 2023 Teams Championship.

The Gamblers began the 2023 season white-hot, going a torrid 12-1 in their initial games, including a perfect 7-0 record, and two event wins, to start the season. As the regular season continued to unfurl, the Gamblers became the first team to win four events, leading the field at both neutral site stops in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Anaheim, California, dominating on the road in Greensboro, North Carolina, and winning their homestand for the first time in Austin.

Their Gambler Days victory marked the team’s third of the season, earned via a flawless 3-0 effort in game play. The event win marked the first time in 2023 a team won a Camping World Team Series stop outright, not requiring Extra Outs.

The bull riding action for the 2024 PBR Gambler Days, presented by Tecovas, at Moody Center begins at 7:45 p.m. CT on Friday, August 23, 6:45 p.m. CT on Saturday, August 24 and 1:45 p.m. CT on Sunday, August 25.

About the PBR Camping World Team Series:

The PBR Camping World Team Series is an elite league featuring the world’s top bull riders competing on teams in five-on-five games leading to a Team Championship at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. During the 2024 season, the league’s third, each of the teams – Austin Gamblers of Austin, TX; Arizona Ridge Riders of Glendale, AZ; Carolina Cowboys of Greensboro, NC; Florida Freedom of Sunrise, FL; Kansas City Outlaws of Kansas City, MO; Nashville Stampede of Nashville, TN; OK; Missouri Thunder of Ridgedale, MO; and Texas Rattlers of Fort Worth, TX– will host a homestand. Neutral-site games to be announced are planned as well.

PBR Teams, launched in July 2022, builds on the existing structure of professional bull riding with the same basic rules for judging and scoring qualified 8-second bull rides. In events staged in a tournament-style format, all teams compete in head-to-head matchups against a different opponent each day. Each game features five riders per team squaring off against another team. Full team rosters are comprised of seven riders on the Protected Roster and five Reserve riders. The team with the highest aggregate score of qualified rides among its riders is declared the winner of each game. The event winner is the team with the most game wins across an event. All PBR Teams events are carried on either the CBS Television Network, streaming live on Paramount+, CBS Sports Network, or RidePass on Pluto TV.
