WalletHub announces Austin is 2021's 8th best large city to start a business

We all know that Austin is a great city to live, work, and thrive. But did you also know that it is one of the best large cities to start a business? According to WalletHub, Austin makes the top 10 - number eight, in fact. Austin also ranks number one for highest average growth in number of small businesses.
Speaking of Entrepreneurship, startups also account for a larger share of businesses in Austin than in nearly all major U.S. metros in 2018 and Austin ranks 5th for new businesses per 1,000 population.
