The Corporate Engagement Council supports Austin in fulfilling its strategic objectives, empowering businesses as effective corporate citizens, working together to create a greater collective impact, and improving the community so each resident can thrive.
Mission
We convene the private and public sectors to build awareness and alignment and create a platform for best practices sharing, community engagement and action for a stronger Austin.
Vision
Austin will be the model of engagement between the public and private sectors to make a collective impact on the needs of our community.
Membership
The CEC is made up of roughly 100 Central Texas companies who have a commitment to corporate citizenship. The council is self-organized with a leadership team comprised of general body representatives, and the chairs of its three committees: Impact & Issues, Communication & Meetings, and CEC Summit. The ideal participating members for this council are CSR & ESG Professionals, or an individual representing a business making impactful investments in Central Texas community.
