See Teens Give was created to empower and activate local teenagers to give back to their community. This program, hosted by Generation SERVE and I Live Here I Give Here, brings together youth across Central Texas to learn about civic engagement, how to engage in giving back to the community, and how to tap into their networks to fundraise. Participating students will turn their inspiration into real-time action by fundraising for a cause they love on Amplify Austin Day.
The act of giving is not dependent on age, ability, or social status. It is driven by a passion to help others. By empowering today’s youth, we are building a stronger, more philanthropic community for tomorrow.
Students who complete the program will receive: 20 community service hours, program t-shirt, letter of recommendation, and certificate of completion. Additionally, we will be giving out some fun prizes.
The program kicks off with a dinner on February 2, 2025 and concludes after Amplify Austin Day on March 16, 2025. The dinner will feature conversation around the importance of giving back, and what to expect during the 6-week program.
