Katherine (Katie) Henry, JD, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Austin Regional Clinic (ARC), has been elected to serve on the Executive Committee of the American Medical Group Association (AMGA), one of the largest and most influential medical associations in the country.

AMGA members and corporate partners are dedicated to “organized medicine” and to improving quality of care and population health. More than 175,000 physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) practice in the AMGA member organizations, delivering care to one in three Americans.

Ms. Henry, who joined ARC in 2019 with more than 20 years of healthcare-related experience, has been serving on the AMGA Board since January 1, 2022. The Executive Committee is composed of six officers elected from among the Board of Directors to provide leadership and direction, working in close partnership with the CEO of AMGA to facilitate strategic decision-making related to the overall direction of AMGA.

As a member of the Executive Committee, Ms. Henry will lead as Chairperson of the Board for the term beginning in 2029.

ARC’s leadership, including Ms. Henry, hold various Board and committee positions with America’s Physician Groups (APG), Texas Medical Association, and other national and regional healthcare organizations.

“ARC’s dedicated engagement in healthcare groups like AMGA better position ARC to understand, and in some cases, influence, the changes and challenges impacting health care,” said Anas Daghestani, MD, ARC CEO. “In her new role at AMGA, Katie Henry will continue to be a major contributor to the future of health care.”
