iCode Launches Pathways Program in Austin
New Program Helps Students Take Charge of Their Coding Education
AUSTIN– iCode in Austin, a national computer science education franchise, launches its new Pathways Program aimed at offering students the ability to self-select courses and define their own path to coding expertise. The program is offered both online and onsite and consists of nine computer science categories, each with a series of instructor-led four-week courses that are hosted in two-hour weekly sessions.
The program’s series of courses is designed to provide an in-depth set of skills and enables students to switch from one pathway to another, which allows for a wide array of choices based upon prior skills and specific areas of interest.
“We’ve launched several new programs this year amid the pandemic – all with the goal of continuing to grow technology skills in children in Austin,” said iCode founder and CEO Abid Abedi. “With this program students can make their own choices in what interests them and what they want to learn more about. That way, the kids are more engaged since they are the ones leading their own learning path.”
Students will benefit from an exceptional proprietary curriculum, interactive and collaborative teaching methodologies and hands-on experience with design and development tools. Through today's popular platforms such as Roblox, Minecraft, Digital Arts, YouTube, Python, Java and more, students in the Pathways program gain a comprehensive foundation in computer science.
Enrollment for the Pathways Program is open now at all iCode locations.
