Austin Chamber opens nominations for 20th Annual Greater Austin Business Awards
Celebration to honor Austin's top businesses in 11 categories

AUSTIN, Texas—The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce today opened nominations for the 20th Annual Greater Austin Business Awards.
"This pandemic has affected Austin businesses in an unprecedented way," said Texas Capital Bank Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking and Greater Austin Business Awards Nominations Committee Chair Monica Fernandes. "But our community proves time and time again that it is resilient. We look forward to honoring these diverse and innovative businesses that are managing through adversity and their impact on our community."
Started in 2000, the Greater Austin Business Awards is one of the largest award programs in the region.
Award recipients are selected by an independent panel of judges. The panel of judges will select honorees for the Uniquely Austin Award; the award recipient is selected by public voting.
Companies with a presence in Travis, Williamson, Hays, Caldwell, and/or Bastrop counties may self-nominate in up to two of 11 categories:
- Austin CEO/Austin Site Leader
- Community Relations
- Company Culture
- Consumer Product
- Customer Experience
- Employee Health & Wellness
- Entrepreneur
- Environmental Champion
- Nonprofit
- Technology Innovation
- Uniquely Austin
The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, July 29.
Austin CEO/Austin Site Leader award recipients will be announced prior to the event. All other award recipients will be announced on Tuesday, Dec. 8.
