“I am excited and humbled to take over as board chair in 2025 and plan to keep the Austin Chamber focused on its mission to have our city be the country’s most prosperous business community. I want to thank Rudy Garza for his leadership and the entire board of directors for engaging on a number of key issues this year; we plan to continue that high level of engagement and advocacy in 2025. I also want to thank Jeremy Martin, President & CEO, and the staff for their support. 2025 will be an exciting year for business in Austin,” said Mark.
Chair-elect Denise Davis is a law partner at Davis Kaufman, PLLC, a boutique law firm lobby practice in Austin. Denise serves on numerous boards throughout Texas including Ronald McDonald House, Thinkery, KLRU/PBS, and Mission Capital, where she recently served as board chair.
“I am honored to have been selected by my colleagues to serve as the 2026 chair, and I look forward to supporting the work of Mark, our 2025 chair, as he leads the Austin Chamber next year. I also want to thank Jeremy Martin, Travis Krogman, VP of State and Federal Relations, and the entire staff for their tireless dedication to our organization and for their commitment to developing priorities and creative initiatives that speak to the needs of our region,” Davis said.
